Suspension Maintenance, the need for it.

This is a wiper out of Rock Shox Revelation. They were new in the spring, as you can tell they are gross and crusty from only 1 summer of riding. Usually they would not be this bad in this amount of time. This is from riding at the Cuyuna Trails just a few times over the summer. Left unchecked this would start to wear out the uppers and leaks would eventually start and you’d be looking at dropping 700 for a new fork. Replacing these and the oil is roughly 10% of that.

In other words, take care of those forks and get them serviced.
