Second, since I am the only one that updates the blog, when I am down the blog is down. I am doing much better now and should be back to 100% in a few weeks. Yeah, I know, last winter was similar. Some times you can’t win.

 

I am working on an upcoming event for the spring, although at this point I am not sure I can make it happen. Stay tuned for more info. Just remember, Art-A-Whirl in May is always a blast.

Surly Trials Pug????

So it’s not any secret or even a trials frame for that matter. John, the outside Q-Brand (read – Surly, Salsa, Civia, All City, Foundry, and so on…) was telling me about this project of his and I made him pull it out of his truck. It is a small Pugsley frame but built “trails” like. Looks fun and I’d love to ride it outside sometime.

I gotta say that the boys who put this together did a fine job. I have personally worked with Eric on a custom frame, and it rides and handles exactly how I expected to, how I wanted it to. I know, Custom frames do cost some serious jing, but I can say that if you work with someone that takes their time and listens to your needs it will be well worth the time and money invested.
