Ah winter, the time at the Bike Shops in the midwest when we get to do the projects that have been put off when it was too busy.
Today we decided to tackle the Pop Up Tent that crapped the bed at the Blaine Velo CX this year in the high winds.
Here is the before photo. 4 cross braces broke and i didn’t feel like spending 300 bones on a new one.A trip over the river to Discount Steel, some cutting and drilling and wha-lah! Fixed.
$19.41 worth of material and an hours worth of man power. Total savings today – around $250.
