Q – What is Kona’s Magiclink Active Geometry?
A – Watch the Video Below!
Kona’s Magic Link from Christopher Halcrow on Vimeo.
I know what your thinking and I gotta confess that I have thought the safe thing. Until I tried a Cadabra at the 2011 Kona bike launch on Galbraith Mountain outside of Bellingham, Wa.
Pedal a 6″ travel bike of a Mountain?
That is the beauty of the magiclink system. When pedaling the bike has 2″ less of travel and with correct setup of the suspension (VERY IMPORTANT) you get a bike that pedals almost as well as a hardtail and sucks up bumps on the way up and lets you bomb that shit on the way back down.
Last week we got a miss shipment of a 2+2 frame and decided that it would be a good idea to strip an older bike we had at the shop and set this bike up as a Demo model.
Now, it’s no feather weight (the bike we stripped wasn’t THAT nice) but it will still rip up the trails or the race scene around here.
Wanna Try it out?
Sure you do.
It’s an 18″.
If you think you’d like to give it a try give us call to schedule a demo today!
Remember this one is 2″ to 4″ model.
